Partner With Us

Help Us Reach the Survivors Who Need This Most — and Help Your Customers Know You're Standing With Them

The Digital Identity Foundation partners with brands and foundations who want to do more than write a check — who want their name attached to real survivor outcomes and real systems change. We're a new organization built by people who've spent decades doing this work, and we're looking for founding partners to help us scale it.

Founding Partners

Why partner with us now

Being early isn't a weakness we're hiding — it's the actual offer.

A founding partnership with DIF means shaping a program from the ground up, not joining the hundredth funder on an established initiative. Every dollar and every piece of visibility you bring right now goes further than it will once we're a bigger, more crowded cause — and it comes with direct access to the people building it: survivors, policy architects, and technologists who've already helped pass federal law in this space.

The Reframe

This is a youth mental health crisis

Image-based sexual abuse isn't only a privacy violation — for the survivors living through it, it produces the same anxiety, depression, and suicidality that any other form of sexual trauma does, and it's disproportionately hitting people under 24. That's the population most youth mental health funders already prioritize; this is simply where that harm is showing up now, accelerated by generative AI.

It also means the people standing between a young survivor and a mental health crisis — campus counselors, Title IX staff, resident advisors, and the law enforcement officers who take the first report — need training most of them don't currently have. Our campus and law enforcement training programs exist to close that gap. Funding them isn't just funding a nonprofit's operations; it's workforce development for the professionals young people already turn to in crisis.

Ways to Work Together

What partnership can look like

Partnership with DIF isn't one-size-fits-all. Depending on what you're looking for, it can include:

A named, co-branded initiative

A specific fund, scholarship tier, or campaign moment carrying your name, built for you to promote directly to your own customers (the way Sephora and Rare Beauty do with Make A Rare Impact).

Workforce development funding

Supporting our campus and law enforcement trainings, which build capacity in the professionals already responding to this crisis.

Direct service funding

Underwriting image removal, detection technology access, and trauma-informed support for a defined number of survivors, with a clear, reportable “your funding = this many survivors helped” structure once we have the data infrastructure to report it.

Systems and policy credibility

Our leadership helped architect the federal Take It Down Act, and our Complicit Index research holds platforms accountable for profiting from this abuse. Partners who care about structural change, not just service delivery, get a seat closer to that work.

Lower-commitment entry points

Employee giving and matching programs, speaking engagements, or a first conversation with no ask attached, if you want to get to know us before anything formal.

Non-Negotiable

Our commitment to survivors

However a partnership takes shape, some things don't move: survivors always choose whether their story is used, in what form, and for how long — consent can be withdrawn at any time. We will never share a survivor's identity, images, or case details with a partner without their explicit, informed permission. Any co-branded storytelling is built with survivors as participants in shaping how their story is told, not as a resource to be used. If a partnership ever required compromising that, it isn't a partnership we'd take.

Transparency

Where we are

We're a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit — determination currently pending — founded and led by people with decades of experience in this fight rather than a founding team new to the work.

Our board and conflict-of-interest policy govern our relationship with our technology partner, Protect Privacy AI, keeping our charitable mission independent of any single company's interests.
